The 2014 Golden Globes were this past Sunday, and they were everything you could hope for. From the hostessess with the mostessess (I don’t think that’s English but you know what I mean), to the actors themselves, it was definitely a night to remember. The fashion was definitely on point, however, the men stole the show. Below are our favorites from Sunday night.
1. Kate Beckinsale
This look was just absolutely STUNNING. When I saw her walk out on stage to present an award, goosebumps literally ran up my arms.
2. Sofia Vergara
This woman can seriously do no wrong.
3. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
Their red carpet looks weren’t my favorite, but once the ladies took the stage, their dresses blew me away. They have never looked better.
4. Sandra Bullock
LOVE that Sandra took a risk and tried something new. Gorgeous!
5. Olivia Wilde
Olivia was a complete knockout! She rocked this dress and her baby bump to perfection 🙂
6. Emma Watson
This is definitely a love-it or hate-it dress, but whatever you might think of the dress, you can’t deny she looks beautiful. And I love that this is a twist on something we are used to seeing at awards shows.
7. Lupita Nyong’o
This was a total knock out! Considering that this was Lupita’s first red carpet, she nailed it!
Now it’s the men’s turn! It was obvious that the men didn’t play it safe for this awards show. Dark green’s and blues ruled the red carpet making the women take notice.
1. Usher
The singer always looks handsome when he’s on the red carpet, but he really knocked this look out of the park by choosing to go with a dark plum instead of black.
2. Robert Downey Jr.
It’s RDJ. ‘Nuff said.
3. Bono
He looked like a rock star in this dark emerald suite. Styled to perfection!
4. Leonardo DiCaprio
He may have stuck with black, but he looked just as handsome as ever. Fingers crossed he (finally!) gets an Oscar.
5. Seth Meyers
The new host of Late Night looked fantastic in his Navy suite. Just look at those baby blues!
6. Matthew McConaughey
Alright Alright Alright! He always looks handsome.
